Adds a new command to rename remote branches and update tracking refs.
Renaming remote refs is performed atomically using a single push.
The push creates the new remote ref and deletes the old if it succeeds.
The frontend now invokes remote-rename when needed and shows labels.
- Atomic remote rename via push with create/ref and delete
- Frontend supports remote branch renames from the branch panel
- Compare UI now shows labels for remote refs in results
This introduces a new Tauri command to clone a remote repository into a
validated destination folder, then return the full repository bundle for
immediate rendering. The Svelte app gains a clone dialog and a new action
in repository management, wiring the cloned bundle into existing refresh
helpers. Dialog backdrops were also adjusted to rely on explicit close
controls.
- Add clone_repository command and core cloning logic in Rust
- Create CloneRepositoryDialog and integrate it into App.svelte
- Improve clone-related styling and tighten dialog backdrop behavior
Consolidate multiple Git backend calls into a single bundle to reduce
overhead when opening and auto-refreshing repositories. This significantly
improves performance by fetching status, branches, commits, and files
in one optimized operation, instead of re-running 'git rev-parse' and
'git status' multiple times.
Also, streamline commit history loading by fetching file changes inline
via 'git log --name-status -z', eliminating expensive per-commit
'git diff-tree' processes.
Additionally, introduce the ability to create new branches from a
specific commit in the history and refactor the commit comparison
feature into a dedicated dialog. The status panel now displays concise
file names.
